Highly adaptable to a variety of applications, these bookbinding vessels provide endless opportunities to showcase decorative mementos like mini-prints, pressed flowers, or written notes. Inspired by the classic board book format, these books are no-sew and are bound together using stiff-leaf pages. We will create two unique variants of this structure: one featuring hand-cut window frames and the other bound with full page-spread hinges. Demonstrations and discussion will include a variety of approaches for paper cut-outs, inclusions, and incorporating decorative papers and found text. All materials are included, and no previous bookbinding experience is required.
