We often scratch our heads over the best gadgets and gizmos to gift to kids for their birthdays and special occasions, but at Postscript, we stand behind the notion that sometimes the best gift comes in a mailbox and is an invitation to creative and imaginative play. To this end, Abbi Eccleston will lead us in crafting "playful letters" for kids in two senses. She will distribute her lettering handouts and offer a quick lesson on how she adds energy and visual play to her hand-lettering. And she will guide students in how she crafts and illustrates an envelope and accompanying note that are a whimsical and joyful letter to gift to a little person.
Students will have time to get started on their own playful letter to a kid in their own lives, so come with a recipient in mind and the address at which that small person resides! Supplies included!
