People invariably ask us at Postscript: "What's your favorite pen?" We find this to be an impossible question to answer because we all love different pens for different contexts, and it's high time we talked about the variety of pens we stock and why. Laura (the shop owner!) will cover the differences between ballpoint, gel, gel ballpoint (why not make it super confusing) as well as felt tip and fountain pens. She'll also demonstrate how to use fountain pens (both using disposable cartridges and converters) and how to change out nibs, and we'll even dip our toes into calligraphy pens as well as brush markers and glass pens.
During this quick little primer hour, you will be able to test, with no commitment, the spectrum of tools we carry and will walk away with the knowledge at (and in!) your fingertips about how to choose a pen that best suits your needs. Perhaps, like Laura, you'll prefer a variety of pens for a variety of purposes, and they will all be your favorite -- but at least you'll know why!
