Capture the magic of summer nights in this charming hands-on collage workshop titled Chasing Light with artist Julie Fjell. Using a wide variety of textured, patterned, and decorative papers, we will build a layered artwork featuring a jar filled with glowing lightning bugs — a nostalgic nod to warm summer nights.
Whether you’re new to collage or an experienced maker, this workshop is designed for all skill levels. We’ll explore color, pattern, and composition while reflecting on the simple joys of summer. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished piece ready to display.
