Nebraska turned 150 years old in 2017, and it's time to celebrate. The Omaha World-Herald's David Hendee brings the state's history to life with a fascinating look at its 93 counties. The newspaper's award-winning photographers add vivid detail to the look back. Also featured are photographs from "Bridges: Sharing Our Past to Enrich the Future," an initiative by the Hildegard Center for the Arts to highlight historical and culturally significant places in all 93 counties.
